First EASA Part-66 Exams ran at the University of Balamand on the 26th of November 2011
Having been approved as a Test Center to conduct EASA Part-66 Examinations, the Balamand Institute of Aeronautics conducted on Saturday November 26 2001, the first examination session. Candidates from the Lebanese Aviation industry came to the University where they sat for tests covering EASA modules 1, 2, 3, and 4. The tests where run in collaboration with Wallonie Aerotraining Network from Belgium and the success rate was near enough to 75%. The University will be holding such examinations on a monthly basis according to a schedule that will be published soon.
